Scripture:
“My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.” — John 10:27

Today’s Devotional
In a world filled with constant noise—notifications, opinions, and endless distractions—it’s easy to lose track of the quiet voice that truly matters.
Jesus calls Himself the Good Shepherd, and His promise is simple yet intimate: “My sheep listen to my voice.”
Hearing God’s voice isn’t about special ability—it’s about daily closeness.
Just as sheep recognize their shepherd through familiarity, we learn to discern God’s guidance through relationship.
The more time we spend in His Word, prayer, and stillness, the more naturally we begin to recognize His tone—gentle, truthful, never condemning.
God’s voice leads us toward peace, not pressure; conviction, not confusion; love, not fear.
And when we follow that voice, even when the path is uncertain, we discover that the Shepherd’s presence is our greatest security.
Reflect & Pray
Reflect:
How do you create space to listen for God’s voice in your daily life?
What helps you distinguish His whisper from the world’s noise?
Pray:
Father, help me quiet my heart to hear You more clearly.
Teach me to recognize Your voice above all others.
Lead me step by step in Your truth, and let my life follow where You guide. Amen.
Today’s Insight
In John 10, Jesus contrasts Himself with false shepherds who lead for selfish gain.
His leadership flows from love—He knows each sheep by name.
Learning to hear God’s voice is a journey of intimacy, not performance.
As you walk closely with Him, His voice becomes familiar, steady, and unmistakable.
True discipleship begins not with striving, but with listening.
